Our Patented Tabbed Inlet Design eliminates the need to weld your tip on. Our design increases the difficulty and time it would take for a thief to remove your tip. With 4 bolts to remove instead of 1, TSO Tips have security built in.
The Tabbed Inlet design does not create a seal between the tip and exhaust pipe. This is to allow cool air to mix with the exhaust as you’re driving to remove excess heat from the exhaust tip. This ensures the finish will remain in near perfect condition for years to come. (Proper maintenance required)

2. Is there a warranty on The Octagon Tip?
Absolutely!
We stand behind our products and if for any reason, your tip is defective, we will replace it within the first year!
3. Can you use the Octagon Tip off-road?
Yes! Our exhaust tips are made for heavy duty 16 Gauge steel and treated with a 4-Stage powder coat.

5. What's up with the Tabbed Inlet?
Our Patented Tabbed Inlet design utilizes a flow through design to aid in cooling the tip to prolong the finish of The OctagonTip.
Since we use heavy-duty American Steel, our exhaust tips are heavier than other tips on the market, so we had to get creative because a band clamp cannot support the weight of an 8lb exhaust tip.
We needed a physical object, or a bolt, to prevent the tip from sliding up and down your exhaust as you hit potholes or bumps on the trail.
The Tabbed Inlet solved that while cutting the build time in half, which means a lower cost item to produce and in turn, a higher quality exhaust tip for less!
6. Exactly how do you install The Octagon Exhaust Tip?
All tips ship with Stainless Steel hardware included, so no need to source them yourself.
The install of The Octagon Tip is slightly different than a traditional exhaust tip.. for a good reason.
The Octagon Tip requires that you drill 4x 11/32" holes and then use the nuts, bolts, washers and lock washers to secure the tip to your exhaust.
Full install instructions will be sent by email when your tip leaves our facility.
7. Can I weld the tip onto my exhaust?
NO!
Welding the tip on will VOID the warranty PLUS it is not required as our tips are designed with theft prevention in mind.
8. Can I use The Octagon Exhaust Tip with my other favorite TSO products?
Yes, absolutely!
